Week 6 with the 2's, what!?

Week 6 with the 2's, already! Guess what, week 6 and day 6 of creation! We are almost able to rest, yeah right! God made the animals on day 6, so we spent lots of time reading about creation and talking about different animals. We had some new friends this week, Braelyn did great! Calendar, story time, and Bible time are getting better and better with the 2's. Take a look!

Yes, I love her!
The color this week is GREEN, so I had fun making a face with all the green food I could find. Doc loved the broccoli, what a good boy!

Next, they focused on coloring a SQUARE with a GREEN crayon. We also practiced saying our first and last name. They are really doing a great job with each task we throw at them.

Gross Motor Skills: Wanna pee your pants? Ask a toddler to try and jump and catch the balloon....moohaw! Kelda and I were cracking up watching them try and do this. But they were determined to get the ballon!

Day 2 began really well with a cute book called Tiptoe Joe.  We continued reading about day 6 of creation where God made the animals. So each person got to select a stuffed animal to join us during story time. We even had some new friends, Sebastian and Batman too!

Snack time consisted of animal crackers and we talked about eat animal and what sound they make. Yes, Doc was so excited about his batman costume, he even figured out how to eat with the mask on!

Doc and Juliette practiced making circles and squares on the chalk board. They really did a great job, especially sharing the space. We decided that Gus was a little too young for chalk, since they like eating it! Sorry for the red poop!

Moving onto watercolors. They first were asked to use the color GREEN and paint squares. That was a flop, so they had more fun just painting a pretty picture!

Look at Bubba's great picture!

Even Gus did a great job painting with the water colors.
The last activity was teaching the kids to place their dirty clothes in the laundry basket. Each child did a great job cleaning up and hopefully will help their mommies at home now too.

We ended the day with another story, they are really getting the hang of this! Great job!
