Week 6 Lesson Plans

Here is the plan for week 6! We are working on the number 3, the letter C, and the story of Joseph and his coat. Happy Monday everyone!

Week   6 - October 1-5
	DAY 1: Introduce	DAY 2: Recognize	DAY 3: Identify
Bible Story	Joseph's Coat - Gen 37 Introduce Using flannelgraph(pg. 33)	Tell story using flannel. Kids take turns putting pieces up.	Review Story - Kids take turns telling it alone while putting up pieces.
Verse	Romans 12:21 (Hide 'Em in Your Heart Vol 1 #4)	Review Verse	Kids recite without adults.
Song	I'm in the Lord's Army (#52)	Review Song	Kids sing without adults.
Poem & Rhyme	Twinkle Twinkle	Review Poem	Kids recite without adults.
Book of the Week	Go Dog, Go	Read story. Have kids use puppets and help tell the story by finishing the rhymes.	Read story - kids help finish rhymes
Craft	Make dog puppets	Make paper bag "coats"
Number	3: Read My 3 Book or 3 Bears- Practice tracing 3's while saying the rhyme	Read 3 Billy Goats.	crayon rubbing - use tactile numbers discussed so far.
